Disposable Plastic Containers with IML

The single cylinder injection model SM200TSV Injection Molding Machine is a high-speed toggle type with a clamping force of 200 tons. It features a closed loop servo valve and direct-drive plasticizing motor.

Driven by a Delta Servo-Drive via a B&R SmartMold controller and PowerLink digital main bus it is capable in this application of 500mm/s of injection, operating fully automatically with a cycle time of 5 seconds to manufacture disposable containers in 2 cavities (body and lid) out of polystyrene.
