Industrial and logistics injection molding covers crates, pallets, water tanks, pipe fittings, valves, power tool housings, medical carts and sports equipment. Pallets and bulk containers are among the largest molded parts in regular production, which is why this category reaches the top of the Chen Hsong tonnage range at 6,500 tonnes.
A single pallet mold can weigh tens of tonnes, so platen support, tie-bar spacing and clamping uniformity matter more than injection speed. Two-platen machines handle this work, with Supermaster TP covering 700 to 6,500 tonnes in a footprint noticeably shorter than an equivalent toggle machine. Deep-draw parts such as bins and tanks also benefit from the longer daylight a two-platen clamp provides.
UPVC pipe fittings attack standard screws and barrels. The JETMASTER-UPVC machine (160 to 650 tonnes) uses a bi-metallic anti-corrosive screw and barrel with a fan-cooled feed section and corrosion-resistant construction. For three-shift operation, NON-STOP™ reliability systems and iChen™ Cloud equipment management shift maintenance from reactive to scheduled, which tends to matter more than headline cycle time once a plant is running flat out.
