For additional strength, our customer in Zhejiang Province, China, is using ABS with 10% glass fibres (GF) to manufacture plastic screw nuts in 2 cavities, with a shot weight of 74.8g each and thickness of 6mm.

They are employing 90 of our JM218-C/ES Toggle Type Injection Molding Machines, driven by the VDP power pack and Nippobatta Ai-01 controller for a clamping force of 218 tons. In fully automatic mode a cycle time of 88s is achieved in the manufacture of this high performance part.
