Wide Mouth PET Preform Manufacture Using the Specialist EM180-PET Injection Molding Machine

In Zhejiang Province, China, our customer has been employing 10 of our EM180-PET Toggle Type Injection Molding Machines since 2017 to manufacture polyethylene terephthalate (PET) wide mouth preforms. The EM180-PET Injection Molding Machine applies a clamping force of 180 tons with an Servo Drive power pack controlled by the Ai-02.

A cycle time of 33s is achieved in semi-automatic mode with 6 cavities having a shot weight of 17.9g each and a thickness of 2mm. The EM180-PET Injection Molding Machine features a high-mixing PET screw for optimum performance.

This machine series has been replaced and upgraded by our newer series of injection moulding machines.
